FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS How much does it weight? The pump weights about four pounds and is worn around your waist much like a fanny pack. Does it get hot (i.e. burn the balloons, fingers, etc.)? It doesn't burn the balloons or fingers. The pump will get warm if you blow a lot of long 260s such as swords, hats, or flowers for a period of time. By talking a little in between each balloon it generally does not get hot. On Friday nights when I blow up to 230-250 balloons as an average, I can only remember one time that it got hot. The reason was that I was making a lot of lovebirds in a hart. I MUST IMPRESS UPON YOU THAT THIS PUMP SHOULD NEVER BE USED TO BLOW UP ANY BALLOON LARGER THAN 5". It should only be used for 260s, 160, bees, hearts, a limited number of 350s, or 5" balloons. Are the batteries rechargeable and how long does it take? The batteries are rechargeable and a charger is included with the pump. It takes several hours to fully charge the battery. What outlet can it be charged from? The battery charger plugs into a regular 110-volt outlet. Warrant? The pump has a warranty of one year provided it has not been abused. the Battery has a 30 day warranty provided it has not be abused or dropped. How long does a charge on the battery last? A single charge will allow you to blow up 400-500 balloons. I have used one battery for a period of 5 hours during a festival before I changed the battery. For large events or I carry two battieries. One as a spare and and one as a back up. As a rule I ALWAYS carry a back up battery, Murphy's Law.
